RegisterHackathon Themes
Dekut Hack will have four themes: Agriculture, green energy, sustainable cities and peace & justice. Teams will have the flexibility to develop their projects within any of these four areas. The aim is to allow participants to explore and innovate in the field of their choice, whether it is addressing the current hunger issues, enhancing renewable energy generation and use or improving our city systems.Each team can select the theme that best aligns with their interests and expertise
Agriculture (SGD 2)
How can we use tech to end hunger? This theme challenges you to think beyond simply growing more food and instead hack smarter systems to eliminate waste and improve food access. The goal is to use tech to promote agriculture, achieve food security and improve nutrition.
Green Energy (SGD 7)
The challenge here is to innovate solutions that make clean energy not just a possibility, but a reality for all. Whether it’s renewable power, energy efficiency, or affordable access for underserved communities, teams can explore innovations that push the world closer to universal green energy.
Sustainable Cities (SDG 11)
This theme is about tackling the friction points of city life to create smarter and more livable urban spaces. The goal is to create future-proof cities solving mobility, waste management, housing and disaster readiness.
Peace & Justice (SDG 16)
Here teams are challenged to develop solutions to promote transparent, accountable governance and access to justice. This theme hacks the systems of trust and governance that enable all other goals.
